June 24 marked the 25th anniversary of the appointment of the Most Rev. Louis B. Kucera, '05, as Bishop of the Diocese of Lincoln, Neb. The silver jubilee celebration will take place Oct. 4, the date of Bishop Kucera's Episcopal Consecration.
To the many personal felicitations he will receive on the occasion, members of the St. John's community wish to add their congratula-lations and promise of thankful remembrance. St. John's is particularly proud of the fact that Bishop Kucera, at one time a student here, is living evidence of the contribution which the Abbey and University have made toward the expansion and growth of the Church in the West.
