To simplify research work, the CSB and SJU libraries share a resource hotline fchone through which students may locate information in either library from either library.
In addition to increased library services, there are more assistants to serve the students. Sister Marie Weisser, working fulltime, and Maureen McCarter, part-time, are new additions to the reference aid and media assistance staff.
Hoping for continued improvements, Chuck Schaffer is planning to expand the periodical collection and strengthen the reference selection.
"I see a library as an information center-a place where people can engage in learning," said Mr. Schaffer. "People will look to the library as a place to come to more often.n
